On June 26, 2004 Ron Sebastian was awarded his Shodan (1st degree black belt).

Starting early, training at the Academy of Isshinryu Karate and continuing when he could, Ron's determination finally paided off at the Isshinryu Karate Academy.

It was a good examination with Hanchi William H. Duessel, Master Charles A. Wallace and senior black belts Sensei Marty Prentice and Sensei Don Washabaugh as judges.
